I came across an interesting infographic on small business using social media as a tool to network and promote their brand. A survey conducted shows that 90% of the small business in USA use social media channels as a means to promote their brand and they have managed to get quite a few customers through online channels. Sample size for the survey was 600 small business in USA.
97 percent of consumers use the internet to research products or services in their local area and searches regularly include company name, product or service, or business owner, it is critical for small businesses build awareness of themselves and their company online!
