Microsoft Office 2013 with improved features and tools

Microsoft has recently launched the latest and the 15^th version of Microsoft office application package that is “Microsoft office 2013”. This new version of Microsoft office comes with more cleaner interface ( without ribbon), sky drive synchronization, and a vast array of features specially designed to best fit in to the mobile phone devices,smartphones and tablets. Microsoft office 2013 looks best when operating on windows 8, but works equally well on all the other versions of Microsoft windows.

A brief review

There are some unique and latest features added to the Microsoft office version 2013 such as editable PDF documents in word, fast insertion of pictures and other visual illustrations from the internet in to presentations, latest tools to organize data in Microsoft excel and much more.

1. More cleaner and appealing look

The new version of Microsoft office 2013 has a clearer and appealing to eye look. It has a more metro app kind of look rather than the traditional desktop application look. Users can now make the Microsoft ribbon disappear by customizing the settings. By doing so the ribbon will get removed and the entire application interface along with title and status bar will vanish giving the app a more visually appealing and clearer look and a more focused working area.

2.  Microsoft word 2013

The Microsoft office word2013 has not undergone major changes. Like all the other apps of Microsoft office 2013, there are visible design changes. When the word document is opened, there come the traditional templates along with a list of recently saved word files. When changes are made to the file saved on one device, the same file saved on the sky drive is also altered. Users can read the typed article without having that constantly blinking cursor that indicates us to write. The document can be converted in to columns with just a click for ease of reading and scrolling through the article. Videos can now be easily inserted and PDF documents can be edited.

3. Microsoft excel 2013

A new feature named as “quick analysis lens” has been introduced that allows the users to rapidly go through the formatting, make charts, finalize totals, and make stylish tables without searching for the icons on the ribbon. Users can now save the excel spread sheets over the internet via sky drive

4. PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint now offers a wider or full screen feature for mobile devices and tablets. Reading view is redesigned as in Microsoft word 2013. Inserting clip art, images and videos in to the slides is much quicker now. 

5. Microsoft office outlook 2013

Major changes have been made to the calendar synchronization with your account whether from hotmail or Google. Like all the other apps in Microsoft office package 2013, Microsoft outlook 2013 has too undergone changes related to visual display and reading view.

6. Skydrive

With the sky drive feature, you can now store all Microsoft documents online and can share them with your friends, family and colleagues.
