India has been a nation of intellect doctors, engineers, scientists, etc then too India has the least number of doctors compared to other nations. One reason for this can be high population and the other can be low paying jobs/salary in the nation and they migrate abroad. But this has been the case in most of the professions.

With advent of better technology and better facility management, India has the potential to deliver the quality healthcare solutions and the medical profession in India is not underpaid as we can see the population of India is the second largest in the world, Doctors always have patients queued outside the healthcare clinic. Being futuristic, I can agree with the article.
