Indian tourism and hospitality is the largest service industry contributing around 9% in total employment rate, in 2008 India generated over $100 billion and that is expected to increase to $275 billion by 2018 at 9.4% annual growth rate.

In India you can easily find many tourist places in each and every state but we are not in the mood of presenting Indian Geographical Map over here to boar you so just keep reading and check out the below mentioned cities you must visit because this list is already famous in every travelers list of travelling.

1. Agra

You know the TajMahal, yes of course you better know and that’s why Agra is on the first number in this list. This is the city where you will visit this monument also listed as one of 7 wonders of the world, it is a building built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal.

It’s an iconic monument for lovers and that’s also a reason tourists don’t forget to visit this place beside in curiosity of capturing a wonder of the world.

2. Delhi

Delhi is not only the capital of India but also highly active in attracting tourists attention due to a lot of monuments and tourists place availability.

You should start with Delhi only because of these world famous tourists places:

  • Lotus Temple
  • Red Fort

  • Akshardham Temple
  • Jama Masjid

3. Goa

It is also one of the most famous for tourists just because of beaches, temples and sanctuaries. This is most famous place also for Indian youngsters due to beaches and what makes them to feel their freedom and total relaxation beside their day to day busy life just as hell.

Capital city of the Rajasthan also famous as Pink City where we can find a lot of forts and monuments giving a very cool sensation to our eyes because of their royal architecture.

One of the oldest and holiest city in the world also famous as Kasi & Banaras, attracts highest number of foreign tourists in Uttar Pradesh due to oldest temples, river banks, BHU etc.

It is situated on the bank of the river Ganga where people believe that if they will live their life’s last moments in Varanasi will get free of their crimes done throughout the life.
