Plastic notes have many advantages over the current paper notes the main reason for government to introduce such notes is to counter fake notes.
The discussion about plastic notes had started in September 2009.
The government said last week it has decided to introduce 100 crore polymer bank notes in denomination of Rs. 10 on trial basis, it will be on field trial basis at five locations in the country.
The Reserve Bank had floated a global tender for introduction of 100 crore plastic currency in 2009.
Countries which have already introduces Plastic notes are – Australia,New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Bermuda, Brunei and Vietnam.

plastic note is require now a day’s because plastic is use to best handle to easy .
More than convenience they may reduce duplication of Indian currency notes.
