According to the survey conducted by market research and consulting firm Cfore in association with CNBC TV 18, TopMBA.com and Career Launcher the best B-schools to go to in India are the IIMs — five figure in this list of ten. And even though XLRI and FMS do find a place in the top ten, their rankings have dropped.

Veracity of information was also checked by the mystery auditing method.

Objective scores were obtained by evaluating b-schools against the following five broad parameters

1. Intellectual capital
2. Placement performance

Well Arun this is a survey conducted by CNBC TV18. And only 113 B Schools participated from India. May be they must have not participated. They don’t even have JBIMS in the list. :)

How can these guys miss Dept of Mgmnt Sudies, I.I.T. Delhi which provides a placement package of Rs14-15 lakhs p.a and charges fees as low as Rs 1.40 lakhs for the entire course ? As far as ROI ( Returns on Investment) is concerned IIT Delhi and FMS are better than IIM, A,B,C also.
