Groupon is one such site which brand’s itself as “Deal of The day” online shopping portal. Started some where in 2008 has grown consistently since then.
Groupon has entered European markets by acquisition of MyCityDeals and in the similar manner has entered Indian markets by acquiring SoSasta. It is a management strategy to buy business already available for cheap.
I didn’t know much about Groupon till Jan 2011 before I read it for the first time on TechCrunch. Since then I wanted to write an article on this!
