BigPaisa.com – Technical analysis for Indian Stock Markets

by Mr. C on July 20, 2010

in Start Ups

Understanding technicals is not a very easy task and here is a startup which is purely for technical analysis.

BigPaisa.com as the tag line says Pure Technicals and Nothing else.

I have a question for you? Do you understand technical analysis? I thinkmajority of them don’t and this makes the target audience of the startup limited.

BigPaisa.com is free and unique website for Traders and Investors in Indian Stock Market (NSE & BSE) which is designed and developed by group of traders and technical experts.

  • You can screen stocks for most popular Technical Indicators and Candlestick Patterns.
  • You can find brief market activity like VIX, FII & DII activity and graph of Nifty Open Interest which is updated every 30 minutes during market hours.
  • You can find daily and weekly Pivot Points for all the equities traded at NSE and BSE. Daily Pivot Points for all the futures and options traded at NSE and BSE.
  • You can find Open Interest for all the futures scripts traded at NSE.
  • You can build Mock Portfolio, Watchlist and save your Custom Screening Parameters.

The portal is really reliable and uses an end of day bhavcopy which is provided by the exchange. When EOD data is uploaded to the site, it mentions the last updated date and time on their web site.

You can create your own stock screening criteria, mock portfolio, watch list and custom screening parameters.

The best part which we think is the mock trading platform!

What’s your take on this? Do Comment!

Hi Chirag,
Thanks for writing review on BigPaisa.com .
As you said there are very limited audience for technical analysis. But now a days there are retail investors and traders who are slowly trading on their own analysis. As retail participation increases in the market we may see some popularity.

Thanks,
Ravi

True over all I agree. We may see increase in volumes soon :)
I was thinking why dont you keep a section on Education – Just for training people on Techincals, you can do that on a weekly basis and I will help you out more on this part with my other blog : MoneyGain.in ?
