The Anil Ambani Ad Campaign against Reliance Industry and Government

Recently you must have noticed the first page of almost all news paper where Anil Ambani group writes about the unfair practices by Government and Reliance Industries Jointly.

Anil is asking Public to vote and comment on the same.

What exactly Anil is trying to do? I guess he is criticizing because of RNRL and RIL gas issues.

The campaign had received well over 100 emails by Tuesday the second day of the campaign. It seems it is a multi crore campaign which is covering 15 News Paper Nation wide.

Well not really sure what this means from a marketing persepctive as i’m not a professional of the same, howevere in terms of what Anil Ambani is trying to achieve i think he may have just done that. Anil Ambani’s ad campaign was aimed at the government, then certainly he has succeeded. The government’s reaction, as seen in its decision to protect the interests of NTPC, shows that the barbs hit their target. The campaign may also have captured the attention of those who’ve been following the Ambani battle and understand the issues involved.

The ads have tried to educate the public on the subject, and though the method may seem unorthodox to some, the campaign has certainly ensured that the aam aadmi is now fully aware of what the hue and cry is all about.

The ad campaign launched by RNRL has been an eye-opener. By raising certain questions in public, junior Ambani has ensured that the government cannot evade the issues raised by him. That itself is a substantial gain for the embattled Ambani.
