People generally get confused once they give 10th or SSC. The main reason being migration from School to College. Though in some places 11th and 12th are Schools example Gujrat State.
There are various options available after giving SSC.
Commerce , Arts and Science : These being the traditional three main streams. Now we have two more Diploma and Vocational courses.
The million dollar question is what to choose from the available options ?
One has to decide what one is good at.
Factors to be considered :
- Percentage of Marks obtained.
- Where your interest lies.
- What you want to do in future?
Basically a Career counselor can help you out of this. But even basic questioning can give a idea what is best suited for you. For example a guy who like technology is best suited for technical aspect ie. engineering so for his 11th and 12th he should take Science. If you want to do CA you should take Commerce.
Asking Question : (Ask these questions to your self)
What do I like : Arts, Science, Commerce, Diploma or /and some other vocational course?
What am I best at : Arts, Science, Commerce, Diploma or /and some other vocational course?
What do I want to do in my future is it related to Arts, Science, Commerce, Diploma or /and some other vocational course ?
What ever I take , will I be able to complete it with flying colours ?
Students generally get misguided but a best decision can change your life.
Remember one thing : “The best decisions are taken when your mind is cool”
